Mecspe, 29-31 October: Techsol and TiQ together for t.fabrica, the evolution of the MES.
Notizia del 07.03.2020
Techsol and Tiq are two consulting and software development companies that deal with business management optimization.
They provide software solutions (MES) that allow manufacturing companies to obtain information quickly and concisely on the progress of the various production processes - thus managing to improve internal management and increase competitiveness - and Supply Chain Optimization solutions to better target production planning and scheduling needs.
In particular, they collaborated to enrich and innovate the t.fabrica solution, the MES / MOM platform of Techsol that allows you to manage the production sector in all its aspects, thanks to a set of features necessary for the control, planning and monitoring of productive activities.
The main occasion to illustrate this collaboration will be Mecspe, the B2B fair that brings together the main sectors of the manufacturing industry and which will be held from 29 to 31 October 2020 at Fiere di Parma.
In fact, within this event, the Digital Factory Exhibition will be established, an area dedicated to issues relating to the intelligent factory, in the Industry 4.0 area. Techsol and Tiq will share an exhibition space for the occasion, to illustrate how MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems represent an indispensable step towards the digitization of each company.
The MES is in fact a data collection system for the management and control of the production function. Its main feature is the ability to synchronize company management and production in order to bridge the gap between the planning and control levels by optimizing the use of productive resources.
The context in which we move.
In Italy the most recent problem concerns the strong pressure that companies suffer to digitize models and products and their difficulty in understanding how to move to become smart.
Realities like SMEs often find themselves fearing digital change, assuming possible losses and lower profits than in previous years.
What is missing is the adoption of a project based on established transformation practices, the combination of which ensures profit expectations.
First of all, an adequate reorganization is needed in the management of business processes on all functions. Approaches such as lean or agile can certainly enable the company and make the path less tortuous.
Then there are the enabling technologies both in terms of improvement of systems in terms of capability 4.0 and in terms of digital technologies (IoT, robotics, artificial intelligence systems or machine learning).
The path should include the right mix between adaptation of business processes, adoption of enabling technologies and adequate skills to support the entire course.
